I would guess it is short for Reputation. Sort of like that stars thing.
I looked it up. It is your rputation. We can bump each others by giving a person a positive point for a post or drop someones score th same way. It strikes me as something really freaking stupid.

Nothing, we don't celebrate Valentines Day. We both think it is a manufactured holiday and choose not to celebrate it.
